Aituaje Iruobe, Nigerian R&B vocalist better known as Waje, has released the visuals for ‘Udue’, ahead of ‘Red Velvet’ concert, her forthcoming show.
‘Udue’, a track off the talented songstress’ last album, features Johnny Drille, Mavin Records singer; and has Emerald, Waje’s daughter, star as Drille’s love interest.
The video, shot at the Lufasi Park in Lagos, follows a day in the life of a love-struck couple who take turns to serenade themselves while in a nature reserve far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The project was produced by Fatima Omokwe and directed by Catalyst.

Waje recently announced the concert for ‘Red Velvet‘, a show which is said to be Nigeria’s first ever ‘bedroom musical’ — named after the singer’s second studio album.
She said the event would be held at the Muson Centre in Onikan, Lagos state, on September 1, 2019.
“I have wanted to do this for a long time, to sing my truth to the world, my way. My goal has been to have a very intimate, passionate experience with you! The stars have aligned and it’s finally time! Please join me,” she had written.
The concert is expected showcase Waje’s critically acclaimed R&B album and “explore its passionate themes with a distinctively new burlesque story-telling style”.
