A video of a US-based woman wailing about the house her brother built for her in Nigeria has surfaced and gone viral.
In the trending video, the US returnee was seen lamenting in dismay as she laid curses on her brother.
Narrating her ordeal, the lady said during her many years in America, she kept sending her “hard-earned” savings to her brother in Nigeria to help her build a two-storey building.
She said on returning to Nigeria, she realised her brother left her with an uncompleted building that looks “stinking and sinking”.
The aggrieved lady vowed to go to every extent to ensure her brother — who is on the run — is prosecuted to “the fullest extent of the law.”
“You all don’t understand. I am right here thinking I am going to get a house. A two-storey building and this is what I have got,” she said.
“What am I going to do after several years in America? I have been saving. Saving all kinds of money to build a house.
“I was sending the money to this crooked brother of mine, Obinna. This is what I have. A stinking, sinking house. That is what this guy got me. You all should look at it, the garden, the water.
“You don’t understand. You sit down and you work for a job in America. You have to take care of your brothers and sisters, your nuclear family including your parents. Above all, you have to save. You also take all kinds of loans.
“I trusted my brother. And I have been asking my parents if they were sure this little boy has been taking care of my stuff. They said yes. They never came here. They also trusted Obinna as I did.
“I am going to prosecute you to the full extent of the law. I am not going to look back that you are brother. You have stolen from me.
“I am going to curse you. It shall not be well with you. Everything you do is not going to work. Your generation will feel what I feel.”
