President Bola Tinubu and Remi, his wife, on Monday night, had their first dance at the presidential inaugural ball as the crowd cheered them on.
Tinubu was sworn in as the 16th president of Nigeria at Eagle Square in the federal capital territory (FCT).
His inauguration ceremony marked the end of an 8-year tenure of Muhammadu Buhari, his predecessor.
The event was attended by business and political leaders as well as foreign presidents.
The after-party ceremony, which was held at the presidential villa, Abuja, featured a thrilling performance from Wasiu Ayinde, the fuji maestro better known as Kwam 1.
Tinubu took to the dancefloor alongside his wife as the couple danced to ‘What A Wonderful World’, a legendary song by Louis Armstrong.
The dance grew in intensity the moment Kwam 1 took over the microphone to deliver a rendition of some of his hit songs.
The president and his wife were later joined on the dancefloor by Kashim Shettima and his wife.
