The movie is an entertaining take on the Boko Haram insurgency with a plot that explored the back story of terrorists seeking to provide answers to the reasons behind their actions.

It tells the story of a runaway teenage suicide bomber (Jammal Ibrahim) and a young prostitute (Jemima Osunde), his newfound ally, who must rely on each other to survive the night.

Last year, ‘The Delivery Boy’ snagged the ‘Beat Achievement in Visual Effects’ award at the 2019 AMAA while also representing Nigeria at the 2020 Pan-African Film Festival (PAFF).

The movie also screened at Jagran International Film Festival, Lake International Pan African Film Festival, and Real-Time International Film Festival — winning the ‘Best Nigerian Film’ category at the 2018 AFRIFF Globe Awards.
