Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, the popular Fuji artiste, has teamed up with Qudus Fakoya, fondly called Qdot, for his new single titled ‘Omo Ologo.’
The video of the song was released on Wednesday — a few weeks after the single.
In the project, produced by 2TBoyz, the singers take a huge dig at “bad belle people” who are envious of their shine.
The three minutes song opens with the legendary Fuji artiste cooing out the chorus in his husky yet glorious voice that earned him a multitude of loyal fans in the early 2000s.
The ‘Napoli Like Lagos’ crooner delivers his melody in majorly Yoruba with a smattering of English to sweeten the mix as he brags about his incomparability.
Qdot, known for his penchant and brilliant usage of Yoruba in his lyricism, wades in and borrows lines from his past records to solidify the track before ending with a leg-stumping eulogy to the longevity, influence, and philanthropic nature of Pasuma.
‘Omo Ologo’ is the third time the duo would be collaborating on a song after they worked together on ‘Olohun O Je’ in 2015 and ‘Gbeja’ in 2020.
