Mayorkun, the Nigerian singer, has come through with the visuals for ‘Let Me Know’, his first single of the year 2021.
The 27-year-old singer, who put out the audio last Friday, had noted that he poured his whole heart into the track.
To consolidate on the success of the single, the music video, directed by Sam Kirk and Omar, was released in the early hours of Friday.
In the three-minute visuals, the ‘Your Body’ crooner takes his lover on an adventurous journey to the countryside.
The singer could also be seen expressing his undying love towards the lady.
Towards the end of the video, Mayorkun’s lover, who seemed upset over a perceived material left inside a teacup, walked out on the singer.
“So anything you want make I do I go do| If I’m too bad for you let me know| And if you wan run one thing| Let me know (Let me know ah let me know)| Anything you want make I do I go do| When you call on me I go show,” he sings in a mixture of English Language. and Pidgin
Mayorkun’s career strides gained prominence after he dropped ‘The Mayor of Lagos’, his debut album, featuring D’banj, Davido, Patoranking among others. The breakthrough project also garnered massive numbers across streaming platforms.
The DMW signee has scooped several awards including the ‘Next Rated’ artiste at the 2018 edition of The Headies as well as ‘Artiste of the Year’ back in 2017.
