Burna Boy, the award-winning Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘Question’, his much-awaited collaborative song with Don Jazzy, CEO of Mavin Records.

The ‘African Giant’ singer announced the release of the audio alongside its video, on Tuesday.

The less than four-minute song sees Burna Boy crooning about his rise into the global limelight against the odds.

It also sees the musician reflecting on his critics who are often taken aback by his heroics.

“Anything you wish me, that would be your portion, man no be God, make them dey talk am, as  we dey fly like helicopter, na by the grace of God we dey move ooo. Questions, wey dem no go get the answer,” he sings in a mixture of English and Pidgin.

The ‘Ye’ singer also explores themes such as spirituality as well as good and evil in the charmingly mellow tune with Don Jazzy adding colour to the lyrics of the song.

The video begins with Burna Boy getting a heroic welcome in his low-profile community and relishing the warm embrace of several children around him.

His blistering popularity in the community soon infuriates his rival who visits a herbalist in an attempt to disrupt his progress.

In the process, however, the singer’s opposition accidentally blows himself up.

With numerous awards and recognition, Burna Boy and Don Jazzy have established themselves as household names in the global music industry.
