Laycon, Nigerian rapper and winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 5, has put out a funky video for ‘Fall for me.’
The visuals was released on Thursday — nearly five weeks after the reality star came through with the audio.
The music video, directed by TG Omori, tells the story of two band members — Laycon and YKB, another artiste featured on the track — fighting for the attention of a lady in the audience.
To the disappointment of YKB, the lady elopes with Laycon and the couple lay in an empty auditorium while resplendently dressed in twinkling clothes.
“Omo yi, make you no fall for me/If you fall for me, I go wan gum body/Omo yi, make you no fall for me/If you fall for me, I go wan gum body,” read the lyrics.
Since winning BBNaija, Laycon has been leveraging the popularity that the reality show garnered him.
He released ‘Fall for me’ alongside another monster hit ‘Wagwan‘ on March 10, and they have been gathering airplay since then.
