Chike, Nigerian singer, has put out the visuals for ‘Roju’, one of his hit singles.
The track, which is the 6th song off ‘Boo of the Booless’, his debut album, was released alongside 13 other tracks in 2020.
But on Friday, the singer took to his social media to announce the release of the music video to his numerous followers.
The video, which is directed by Pinkline, borrows broadly from the rich and beautiful cultures of Nigerian major tribes — Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba.
It also shows the ‘Running to You’ crooner adorned in magnificent ornaments and outfits alongside his lover as he walked her down the aisle.
The musician, whose real name is Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, had participated in the Voice of Nigeria, a music show, in 2016.
He thereafter signed with the Universal Republic the same year, where he released ‘Fancy U’, his debut single with the label.
Chike left the Universal Republic in November 2017 and then released ‘Beautiful People’, as an independent artist in February 2018 before he signed with Brothers Records.
