A video of Julius Agwu, the Nigerian comedian, dancing energetically at the traditional wedding of Rita Dominic has surfaced online.
Rumours swirled recently on social media that the funnyman has been battling an undisclosed ailment.
Some users had also claimed that his wife abandoned him due to his health condition.
But in the now-viral video, Agwu could be seen showing off his dancing moves alongside Charles Inojie and Hilda Dokubo at Dominic’s wedding with smiles etched on his face while he showed no sign of sickness.
Dominic and Fidelis Anosike, the publisher of Daily Times Newspaper and founder of Folio Media Group, tied the knot on Tuesday.
The wedding ceremony, which was the talk of the town in Imo state, took place in Mbaise, the film star’s hometown.
It was attended by top figures and the crème de la crème of Nollywood including Joke Silva, Chioma Akpotha, Uche Jombo, and Kate Henshaw, among others.
The wedding was Agwu’s first public appearance since his rumoured sickness.
Bovi, the fellow comedian, had earlier dismissed the claims that the 49-year-old was sick.
“He (Agwu) is not sick,” he had told a Twitter user earlier this month.
Agwu’s absence from social media has continued to leave fans worried about his well-being.
The comedian’s last Instagram post was on September 30, 2020.
