The family of Victor Olaotan, the veteran Nollywood actor who died in August, has announced burial arrangements for their late son.
TheCable Lifestyle had reported how the movie star breathed his last after a prolonged illness caused by a ghastly road accident in 2016.
According to a flyer of the event shared via Instagram by Gideon Okeke, Nigerian actor, Olaotan’s burial arrangement will commence with a service of songs billed for September 15.
The service of songs will hold at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Fountain of Life Parish) at Ikeja, Lagos.
This would be followed by the burial service at the same venue on September 16 with interment scheduled to follow immediately.
The statement said the interment segment of the funeral ceremony is strictly for family members.
It added that the burial activities will end with a thanksgiving service which would hold on September 19 at the RCCG Mega Church in Agidingbi, Ikeja.
Olaotan began acting with a University of Ibadan (UI) theatre group where he met Wole Soyinka and Jimi Solanke.
He became very popular in 2013 for his lead role in ‘Tinsel’ after the programme began airing in August 2008.
In 2018, the deceased had sought financial aid for medical treatment outside Nigeria to avert the amputation of his legs.
