In a recent Instagram post, the filmmaker claimed “roommates or friends deliberately” poured a cloth-bleaching substance into her daughter’s water bottle.

The 48-year-old movie producer — real name Ibironke Ojo-Anthony — added that she was taken to three different hospitals for treatment before she felt better.

The movie star said the incident, which happened about three weeks ago, had prompted her absence from social media.

“Good evening my people, let me tell you something. You will notice that you didn’t see me on Instagram for a while,” she said.

“My daughter is in the University now. What happened was that, about three weeks ago, they called me around 3:45 am that my daughter, Jummy drank hypo. I was like hypo how? How will my child drink hypo?

“I went to the school and when I got there, I went to the hospital. She was crying. She was not herself. What happened was that maybe her roommate or friends deliberately poured hypo into the water that she drinks. They want to kill her.

“I gave her a water bottle. I bought the water bottle because I was told by the hospital to regularly take water. She loved the water bottle which had a straw attached to it.

“She just took up the bottle (in school) around 3 am and drank the water. Not knowing that someone had poured hypo inside the water and covered it tightly.

“Do you know they actually want to kill her? So that you can know that something is happening in this life.

“I intentionally do not want to mention the name of the school because I don’t want to tarnish their image.

“We went to three hospitals before my daughter got better. We were saved at a general hospital. I have only received mercy to take care of my children because I am nothing.”

The mother of two cautioned the school to ensure such occurrences never happen again.

Oshodi Oke also called on parents to be mindful of their children in school.

“I am warning the school for the first and last time. I know some people from the school would watch this video. If anything like this happens to my daughter again. I have just two,” she said.

“I will not take it lightly. So that they won’t say Ronke’s trouble is too much. That is why I decided to lay low.

“And I am saying this to all parents. The school that my daughter is not a public school. Private school does not mean a child would not be wayward. Look after your children. Warn them to always know what they are doing.”
