Davido, the Afrobeats singer, has performed ‘Feel’ and ‘Unavailable’, two songs from his ‘Timeless’ album, at the CNN Juneteenth concert.

The Juneteenth concert is an annual event put together by CNN to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.

The 2023 edition was themed “Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom” and held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, US on Monday.

Davido made his debut appearance as the first African artiste to perform at the concert.

The ‘OBO’ singer showcased his vocal dexterity with an electrifying performance.

During the concert, Davido mesmerized the audience with a seamless transition from the soulful rendition of ‘Feel’ to a captivating performance of  ‘Unavailable’.

He shared the stage with a lineup of renowned artistes, including Chloe Bailey, Charlie Wilson, Miguel, Kirk Franklin, Nelly, SWV, Coi Leray, Jodeci, Mike Phillips, Questlove, and Adam Blackstone.

Davido began his musical journey in 2011 with the release of his breakout single ‘Back When’.

Since then, he has consistently delivered chart-topping hits such as ‘Skelewu,’ ‘Aye,’ ‘Owo Ni Koko,’ ‘If,’ ‘Fall,’ ‘Fia,’ and ‘Assurance’, among others.

The singer released ‘Timeless’, his fourth album, on March 31.

Since the album’s release, ‘Timeless’ has gained millions of streams across music platforms.
