EbonyLife Cinemas has gotten the rights to screen the highly anticipated biopic ‘Bob Marley: One Love‘.

Mo Abudu, the CEO of the movie production brand, took to her Instagram page to share the trailer of the movie.

The media mogul also urged her followers not to miss the movie which is “coming to your screens at EbonyLife Cinemas on Wednesday, 14th February”.

She added that there would be a Reggae rooftop party to celebrate the film’s release on February 17.

“Hello beautiful people, look at what landed @ebonylifecinemas today. Everyone is getting excited about seeing this in Nigeria,” she wrote.

“We are planning a rooftop Reggae party on February 17 to coincide with the release of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’, a biopic about the legend. Please make sure you see this movie wherever you are, it is not to be missed. One love”.

The film follows the life of the iconic king of Reggae; depicting his rise to stardom, self-imposed exile and pivotal career accolades till his death in 1981.

It also captures Marley’s public life and features videos of his legendary and electrifying performances throughout his career.

The Reinaldo Marcus Green-directed film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, Lashana Lynch, James Norton, Tosin Cole, Nadine Marshall, and Anthony Welsh.

‘Bob Marley: One Love’ is produced by Ziggy Marley, Rita Marley, and Cedella Marley, along with Plan B Entertainment and Tuff Gong pictures.

The ‘Rastafari icon’ died on May 11, 1981, after battling with acral lentiginous melanoma for four years.

His contributions to music increased the visibility of Jamaican music worldwide and made him a global figure.

He was also controversial in his outspoken support for the legalization of marijuana.
