In an emotional interview with Azuka Ogujiuba, the actress revealed the challenges she’s faced thus far in her marriage.

“First of all, I’d like to say that this interview is not to discredit my husband or rather my ex-husband in anyway… It’s a bitter experience. Being here is not easy,” she said.

The actress said she suffered domestic abuse from her estranged husband and also shared with the interviewer, pictures to back her claim.

“The domestic violence is real. It’s real. How I lived to suffer it and go through it over and over again, I do not understand.”

Dikeh said her love for Churchill made her endure the abuse, infidelity and his shortcomings.

“I stayed back in my marriage, not because of my child. I stayed because I was doing it for myself, because I loved my husband with all of my heart. I stayed because he begged me to stay a couple of times. I stayed because I just didn’t want to give up. I didn’t want to give up on the marriage just like that.

“People change, I changed… My husband has humiliated me so much,” she said.

The actress married Churchill, nephew of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, in 2015.
