UK-born Nigerian, Mo Adeniran, was on Sunday crowned winner of The Voice UK.

Mo, who was mentored by Jennifer Hudson, made it to the finals alongside Jamie Miller and Into The Ark.

The talented singer performed ‘Iron Sky’ by Paolo Nutini and ‘Unsteady’, his winner song, during the finale.

After being announced the winner, a shocked Mo said, “I want to say thank you to everyone at home and here that supported me”.

“I want to say an amazing thank you to the most phenomenal person I’ve ever met in my life.

“Thank you, Jennifer and thanks to all the judges.”

His winner single is available to stream and download on iTunes, Apple Music and other music platforms.

Before The Voice UK competition, 21-year-old Mo worked night shifts in a hotel.

Mo was adopted at the age of three – but was taken away from the family at the age of eight because his adopted mother was abusive.
