Dwayne Johnson, an American actor better known as The Rock, and Lauren Hashian, his wife, have celebrated their first wedding anniversary together.

The lovebirds took to their individual social media pages on Tuesday to pen lovely messages to each other.
In a post on his Instagram page, The Rock described himself as a lucky man to have found a woman of Hashian’s ilk as a wife.
The retired WWE star also appreciated his wife for the release of ‘Step Into A Love Like This’, a song she dedicated to mark the anniversary.

“One year ago today, on August 18, 2019 -I had the honor of marrying @laurenhashianofficial. Later that night she surprised me with this beautiful song, ‘Step Into A Love Like This’ that she wrote and sang herself in honor of our marriage,” he wrote.
“I’m not a writer, so all I can do is speak from my heart and gut — and other than my three daughters being born — this is the greatest gift I’ve ever received. Bottom line, I’m a lucky and grateful husband, father and man to have such an amazing woman by my side through this unpredictable, yet beautiful thing we call life.”
On her part, the American singer said her marriage to Johnson has been a blissful ride.
She also expressed her excitement at releasing a song chronicling her love for the movie star on their special occasion.
“This has been the most personal and rewarding song I’ve ever written. Personal because every word is from the heart, and rewarding because one year ago today on our wedding day August 18, 2019, I was able to share this song with my man I now call my husband in front of our little girls and our family & friends,” she wrote on Instagram.
