Teni, the Nigerian singer, has announced the completion of her upcoming album.

In a Twitter post on Wednesday evening, the songstress also argued that the “world is not ready” for the new project.

“ALBUM DONE!!!!! THE WORLD IS NOT READY!!!!” she wrote.

She, however, didn’t reveal the album title or release date.

The ‘Billionaire’ crooner also shared a teaser video to keep her fans anticipating.

Teni Apata has established herself as a prominent female musician in Nigeria with many hit songs.

The singer released her debut single ‘Amen’ while signed to Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records.

She left the record label and signed with Dr. Dolor Entertainment in 2017.

Teni started gaining prominence after releasing the single ‘Fargin’ in September of the same year.

She made her breakthrough after releasing the hit singles ‘Askamaya’, ‘Case” and ‘Uyo Meyo’.

Her studio projects include ‘Billionaire’ (2019), ‘The Quarantine Playlist’ (2020), and ‘Wondaland’ (2021).

In November, Teni came through with ‘Maitama’ featuring Mayorkun and Costa Titch, the late South African singer.

Last December, the musician revealed she decided to tackle obesity because she feared for her life.

“I realised you only have one life. Me, I don’t want to die. If you need inspiration, look at me,” she had said.
