The teaser for ‘Superstar‘, a forthcoming movie starring Nacy Isime and Timini Egbuson, is out.
‘Superstar’, which is a joint production by Inkblot and FilmOne, is set for a cinema debut on December 29.
The film follows the story of Queen, an actress who struggles to navigate life and love in 21st century Nollywood.
Queen must find the balance between artistry and stardom whilst surviving the demons of her past.
‘Superstar’ features big names like Isime, Egbuson, Ufuoma McDermott, and Eku Edewor.
It also stars Daniel Etim Effiong, Deyemi Okanlawon, Teniola Aladese, and Lord Frank.
It is directed by Akhigbe Ilozobhie who shared writing credits with Uyoyou Adia.
Also sharing in the scriptwriting credits for ‘Superstar’ is Chinaza Onuzo, an Inkblot co-founder.
Zulumoke Oyibo, another Inkblot co-founder, said: “We first employed Akay as a Production Assistant in 2015.
“We are so proud to see his growth and how he continues to break new ground in his writing and directing career. Superstar is a testament to his vision and talent. The audience is in for an exciting ride this December.”
‘Superstar’ marks Inkblot’s ninth collaboration with FilmOne Entertainment.
Together, their collaborations are acclaimed to have generated over N1 billion in the box office.
