Hauwa Saidu Mohammed, the controversial sex therapist better known as Jaruma, is set to star in ‘The Real Housewives of Abuja’ reality show.

Showmax had earlier teamed up with the Nigerian company Livespot360 for the recently concluded ‘RHOLagos’.

The show is part of The Real Housewives franchise, a reality TV format distributed internationally by NBC Universal Formats, a part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.

It has had 12 installments in the United States and 19 international versions, including the just-concluded RHOLagos.

Each installment documents the personal lives of some wealthy women residing in or around a particular city.

On Wednesday, a teaser for ‘The Real Housewives of Abuja’ (RHOAbuja) surfaced via Twitter.

The teaser revealed five cast members including Ogwa Iweze, Jaruma, Ummeeta Rabiu, Aisha Falke, and Princess Jennifer Umeh-Ubaka.

The teaser did not reveal a timeline for the show.

‘The Real Housewives of Lagos’ aired in April. The reality show featured celebrities like Iyabo Ojo, Caroline Danjuma, Toyin Lawani, Laura Ikeji, Chioma Goodhair, and Mariam Timmer.
