‘Fellow Nigerians, It’s All Politics,’ a memoir by Simon Kolawole, the respected columnist, is up for reading at CORA Book Trek.
The book event is to hold on March 25 at Roving Heights bookstore, Landmark Event Centre in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The reading will also be streaming live via the video communications platform Zoom.
‘Fellow Nigerians, It’s All Politics’ was released on October 3, 2022, and was published by Cable Books.
The book encompasses both Kolawole’s published and previously unpublished articles.
The articles, totaling 61, address various issues, including leadership, the economy, and politics in Nigeria.
Since its release ‘Fellow Nigerians, It’s All Politics’ has been at the receiving end of critical acclaim.
In February, Kolawole made the Roving Heights bestseller list, ranking 12th among 49 top non-fiction books.
The Booksellers Limited, a leading bookstore, also named the author’s work among its top titles on its debut.
CORA (Committee for Relevant Art) is a Nigerian non-profit of artists, art critics, and aficionados.
Its members pride themselves as culture landscapists, focusing on social involvement and debate on societal issues.
CORA hosts many events including the quarterly Art Stampede and the annual Lagos Book & Art Festival (LABAF).
It publishes the quarterly magazine Lagos The City Arts Guide, publishes books, and has founded several libraries.
