The singer is one of the judges for the music show’s sixth season alongside DJ Sose and Obi Asika.

Shay had told the teenager that he should not have auditioned for the show in the first place, adding that he “can not make money being a singer.”

The singer has since provoked a plethora of mixed reactions on Twitter with a number of users expressing their reservations over the way she passed her verdict on the teenager.
