In January, the singer had tackled Asake and Olamide, his label boss, for not reaching out to him over the alleged usage of his work.

In the interview, Blackface also revisited his copyright infringement saga with Wizkid and Burna Boy.

The singer argued that their collaboration ‘Ginger’ borrowed heavily from his song ‘Twist & Turn’.

He also claimed there are similarities in the rhythms, beat, and the way the melody commences and concludes.

“Ginger’ by Wizkid and Burna [Boy] is [a sample of] my track ‘Twist & Turn’; the rhythms, the beat, how the melody starts and ends. Na only the verses dem change,” he said.

The former Plantashun Boiz star said he is not against young artistes sampling his songs but worried about the manner in which they go about it without seeking permission.

The three singers are yet to comment on the allegations.
