The singer was earlier arrested alongside Mohbad, another Marlian Music signee, and four others in a raid by the NDLEA.

He was later released after spending one day in the custody of the anti-drug agency.

Femi Babafemi, a spokesperson of the NDLEA, had said the musicians were arrested “after some quantities of Cannabis and Molly were recovered from their apartment and car.”

In a video shared via his Instagram page on Monday, the musician said the NDLEA carried out the raid after receiving a “distress call.”

He added that the matter later “escalated” between operatives of the agency and his team.

Zinoleesky said he and his team would continue to support the ongoing investigation into the case by the NDLEA.

In the video clip, he declared his support for the campaign against drugs, warning his fans to “say no to drugs.”

“Hi everyone I want to thank my family and fans for their support following the incident that happened last week,” he said.

“There was a distress call in which the NDLEA responded, unfortunately, the issue escalated but from now on, my team and I will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA so they can finish their investigations. Say no to drugs.”
