Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, the Nigerian skit maker popularly known as Sabinus, has offered to give out registration forms of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to interested applicants.
Registration for the board’s 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) began on January 15 and will run until February 26.
Candidates who are interested in the mock examination will pay the sum of N7,700 for their registration. The applicants who are not interested in the mock exam are to pay N6,200.
In a post via his social media pages, the 28-year-old skit maker said he will be giving out JAMB forms to 50 interested candidates.
“Giving out 50 jamb forms for free. Contact this number 08039805250,” the post reads.
This year’s UTME is expected to begin on March 19 and end on April 29.
Sabinus started comedy in 2015 but began to see mainstream success in 2019.
“Movie money is also big especially when you land a role in major films. I will still be doing my skits but I still want to hit big face,” Sabinus had told TheCable Lifestyle in mid-2021 while speaking about his career plan.
The skit maker’s popularity has earned him some notable awards and recognition.
At the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), he was named ‘Best Online Content Creator’.
