Sabinus, the Nigerian skit maker, has been given another Mercedes-Benz — one month after he was involved in a car accident.
In a post via his Instagram story on Wednesday, the comedian shared a video of the white coloured Benz.
The skit maker said he had insured the damaged car that is why he is getting a new Benz.
“It’s brand new. We just got a car replacement, you know the accident that happened. You see why e good to buy motor put insurance,” he said in a mixture of pidgin and English.
In September, the comedian was involved in an auto crash that wrecked his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV.
Although he came out unhurt, the vehicle suffered significant damages, with its bonnet visibly crumpled
Sabinus, real name Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, started comedy in 2015 but began to enjoy mainstream success in 2019.
He has featured in a number of Nollywood films, including the likes ‘Billionaire’s Bride’ and ‘Man of War’.
“Movie money is also big especially when you land a role in major films. I will still be doing my skits but I still want to hit big face,” Sabinus had told TheCable in mid-2021 while speaking in an interview about his career plan.
At the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), he was named “Best Online Content Creator”.
