Although ‘Heis’ is the album with the biggest opening week in 2024, it does not hold the all-time record.
The biggest opening week for any album on Spotify Nigeria’s history is Davido’s 2023 hit ‘Timeless’ at 14.4 million streams.
“‘HEIS’ recorded 12.3 million streams on Spotify Nigeria on its first week of release,” the post added.
“It becomes the second biggest first week streams for any album on Spotify Nigeria history — behind only @davido’s ‘Timeless’ (14.4M).”

‘Heis’, which is an 11-track project, was released on July 11. The project arrived two years after Rema’s debut album ‘Raves & Roses’.
Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, signed with D’Prince’s Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, in 2019.
Since then, he has continued to attain remarkable records and success in the African music scene.
