‘Spotlight’, the debut album of Reekado Banks has debuted on the tenth spot on the world albums category of the Billboard music chart.
Banks won the coveted Next Rated category at the 2015 edition of the Headies awards which held on January 1, 2016.
‘Spotlight’ which was released on September 1, has thus far enjoyed warm reception from fans.
The Mavin star’s album has had an impressive chart activity, as it debuted on the top spot on iTunes world music chart.
Reekado is the latest Nigerian artiste to have his album feature on the world album chart.
‘El-Hadj’, the fifth studio album of Reminisce debuted on the 13th spot of the same chart in its first week of release.
Other Nigerian artistes that have made it to Billboard charts in recent time, include Wizkid, Yemi Alade and Ayo Jay.
