Some Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the court summon on Busola Dakolo, celebrity photographer; and Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).

They are expressing their lassitude at the protraction of the sex allegation case between the duo.

Busola, wife of Timi Dakolo, Nigerian singer, had previously accused Fatoyinbo of raping her on two occasions when she was a teenager.

In the summon document dated September 6, and seen by TheCable on Monday, the cleric was asked to appear in court within 14 days.

The document also carries a vivid description of the charges levelled against the COZA pastor.

Busola through Pelumi Olajengbesi & Co., her lawyer, is seeking the order of the court to compel Fatoyinbo to publish a clearly worded apology to her on the front page of at least two national newspapers and two national televisions for seven days running consecutively.

She also demanded the cost of “this action” — carried out by her lawyers, to wit, litigation fee — to be estimated at N10 million.

The latest dimension of the trial has led to reactions on social media platforms, especially Twitter, where Nigerians have been expressing their different opinions.

While a segment of users appeared appalled by Busola’s demands — especially the monetary aspect — others expressed their lethargy to the prolongation of the whole saga.

“Busola Dakolo and Biodun Fatoyinbo should take their wahala and go. I’m tired abeg,” a Twitter user said.

“Can Busola Dakolo and Biodun Fatoyinbo please carry their case and go local man is tired abeg,” another user said.
