Habeeb Okikiola, the controversial singer fondly called Portable, has addressed a rumour that he is dating the wife of Lamidi Adeyemi, the late Alaafin of Oyo.
Last week, a purportedly cryptic conversation between Portable and Damilola Adeyemi, wife of late Alaafin, went viral on social media.
There were also rumours that the pair might be dating.
But reacting to the speculation in a recent interview, Portable said Dami has been “my fan from day one”.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker added that he would not have been close to the entrepreneur if the monarch was alive.
“Is it not Alaafin that owns the child? She is my fan from day one. It was later I heard the king had died. And after king na king,” he said.
“You would not have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife.”
The Alaafin passed away in April 2022.

In May 2022, the singer revealed plans to have 12 wives before he clocks 40.
“I never reach 30, I don get six wives and plenty children. Before I reach 40, my housewives would be up to a dozen. I am not 30 and I already have six. I just want to inform you so you would be aware,” he had said.
A month later, he welcomed his second child with Omobewaji Ewatomi, one of his baby mamas.
Last December, the 29-year-old announced the arrival of a child with Keji, his third baby mama.
He also has a child with one of his lovers named Zainab Badmus.
In June, Portable revealed that Ashabi Simple, another baby mama, has become his wife.
