The Install brand, a clothing line that is famously known for branding housemates of Big Brother Naija, held its fourth fashion pop-up in Lagos on Saturday.
A pop-up shop is a temporary retail space that is typically used to introduce a new product line, test a new market or generate awareness for a product or cause.
Speaking at the event, which was held at the BIC Gardens, Lekki, Adewale Olufunsho, the founder of the brand, said the purpose of the pop-up was to exhibit new designs as the year gradually ends.
He said the next objective for the fashion brand, which has styled Nigerian rappers like Falz, Reminisce, and Ladipoe, is to open an international store in Canada.
Olufunsho said customers of his brand should expect more creative and glamorous designs as the clothing line experiences growth.
“It’s a fashion pop-up. We are here to exhibit new designs to wrap up the year. And I’m grateful for how far the year has brought me,” he said.
“I think one of the most important things was trying to take care of myself and my family members. That’s why I think I started back in 2015.
“This is our first pop-up and it’s big. I’m grateful for how far I have come. Some of the celebrities I have worked with are Falz, Reminisce, Ladipoe, and Omah Lay. This year we worked with the BBNaija housemates and we did the same last year as well.
“Moving forward, I hope the next pop-up would be at our own store, where people get to see our own place and things. We are also trying on how we can open our international stores and we are looking at Canada.”
Opeyemi Bankole, a customer, commended the brand’s trending designs. Bankole also said she can confirm that deep artistic creativity goes into making the wears.
