Tonto Dikeh, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), and May Edochie were among the celebrities who marked Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day on social media.
They joined a multitude of Nigerians on October 1 in sharing vibrant photographs to mark the historic occasion.
Beyond the festive displays, their messages carried a reflective tone, acknowledging the significant challenges facing the nation while simultaneously offering heartfelt words of encouragement and hope for a brighter future.
In an Instagram post, Tonto Dikeh stunned in a white and green dress. According to the actress, Nigerians “remain people of strength, resilience, and unshakable hope” even in the face of challenges.
“Let’s keep building, believing, and becoming together. A brighter Nigeria is not a dream, it’s a future we are creating step by step,” she wrote.

Joining the fray, Eniola Badmus shared a video of herself standing at the Nigerian embassy in the United Kingdom.
