Leo Mezie, the Nollywood actor who was bedridden for a long time due to a kidney ailment, says he is now perfectly fine.
Mezie shared pictures of his recovered self via his new Instagram page, looking beyond the odds to show his perfect being to Nigerians.
The actor also appreciated Nollywood, fans, and well-wishers who stood by him through the trying time.
“Thank you Nollywood, fans, friends and well-wishers, God bless you”, he wrote.
Mezie had been down with kidney failure for over 4 months and had solicited for funds from Nigerians, needed for treatment.
He kept everyone informed of the progress of the treatment while he was abroad; he posted pictures, videos and often appreciated the support he got from loved ones.
In the last video message he posted online, he said, “I want to use this medium to say a big thank you for all your supports, financially and your prayers. I just want to let you know that everything got across to me”.
