This past weekend, Rwanda – the land of a thousand hills – felt the presence of many Nollywood stars and film industry heavyweights.
Kigali, the country’s capital city, played host to the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) – and some of the nominated actors, directors and scriptwriters were in town for the pre-award shindig.
Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikediezie, Doris Simeon, Forson Lydia, Isong Emem, Olu Jacobs, Joke Jacobs, Bolane Austen-Peters, Uzodinma Okpechi, Tonye Princewill, Izu Ojukwu were some of the prominent names present at the event on Sunday.
One of Nigeria’s best live bands, Maestro, was on hand to dish out flawless renditions of popular Nigerian songs to the admiration of guests present.
Ugandan star, Ykee Benda, also provided entertainment at the AMAA nomination gala.
