Paul Okoye, the Nigerian singer better known as Rudeboy, has slammed a woman who sought his help for calling him “wicked”.

In a series of posts via his Instastory on Monday, the singer lamented how a woman he had helped insulted him.

Okoye shared screenshots of his conversation with the woman wherein she thanked him for his financial support when her daughter was sick.

She would later ask him for money to feed her children — which the singer failed to respond.

In another message, the woman reminded Okoye that he was “once a poor man”.

She added that he would one day “die and leave the money behind”.

“Why are you this wicked? Remember one day you will die and leave this money. If I have I won’t beg you,” she wrote.

“You were once a poor man, God will make way for everyone. How much do you want to give me? If not for sickness that kept me in this condition, I never knew I will beg in my life.”

Reacting to the woman’s messages, the singer said “I need to increase the volume of my wickedness”.

“The situation in the country is getting worse,” he wrote.

“Even someone I have never met but I’m constantly helping, the person just insulted me today and called me a wicked person.
