Patrick Doyle, the ace actor and broadcaster, has praised Funmilayo, his wife, for cooking him the “best meals”.
In a post via his Facebook page on Wednesday, the actor shared a photo of himself and Mercy Kuku, a friend’s wife.
Doyle said Mercy “blew my mind with her cooking” when she hosted him in Atlanta.
The actor added that besides Funmilayo, “no woman” has cooked better meals for him.
“For whatever reason today, I am in a mood to remember and thank people who have left an indelible impression on me in the recent past,” he wrote.
“This is Mercy Kuku my schoolmate Kenny Kuku’s wife. She was my hostess in Atlanta and she literally blew my mind with her cooking.
“After my sweetheart Funmilayo, no woman has cooked better meals for me”.
In August 2022, Funmilayo shared a video from their court wedding.
Doyle and Funmilayo would later have their traditional wedding ceremony on December 14, 2023.
The actor had previously described his new wife as a woman who has taken up the role of “my mother, friend, and partner for life”.
He added that he has “never been happier in all my life”.
Patrick was married to Ireti, the ace actress, in 2004. The marriage, however, hit the rocks.
In January 2023, Ireti confirmed her divorce from Patrick.
“We are officially divorced. When you’re an adult, it is not a life and death situation,” the actress had said.
“The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time talk less of… let’s not even go to the choice of who I got married to.”
They have five children together.
