In a statement via his Twitter page on Saturday night, Oxlade apologised to his fans over the leaked sex tape.

The musician attributed the incident to “betrayals”, adding that “I am not the type of person to put my personal business out there.”

The ‘Ojuju’ crooner also pleaded with the lady in the video, saying she does not “deserve this type of exposure.”

“Betrayals are very real and in this same token I want to apologise to the woman in the video, who did not deserve this type of exposure and lastly apologies to my fans and well wishers.”

It was gathered that about five different videos of the singer were distributed across social media, in which he could be seen having sexual intercourse with the unidentified lady.

The video clips come a few months after another sex tape scandal involving Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian songstress, generated heated outrage across social media.
