Kenny, brother to Chris Rock, the comedian, has challenged Will Smith, the Hollywood actor, to a boxing match.

Smith had slapped Rock at the 2022 Oscars after the comedian joked about Jada Pinkett’s shaved head — which is due to the hair-loss condition alopecia.

According to TMZ, Kenny — who just signed a boxing deal with Damon Feldman, founder of the Celebrity Boxing — is keen on fighting Smith.

The boxing deal includes a scheduled match slated to hold on June 11 at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

It is understood that the Kenny is yet to get an opponent for the match but the 43-year-old remains confident of defeating Smith if he accepts his challenge.

Kenny had earlier slammed Smith for slapping his brother and claimed the actor’s apology after the incident was not “genuine”.

He had also argued that Rock would not have made the now-controversial joke if he knew about Jada’s condition.

“No, I don’t accept it because I don’t think it was genuine. I think his publicist and the people that work under him probably advised him to do that,” he had said.

“I might have looked at it differently had he initially apologized when he got on the stage and cried and accepted the award, but he didn’t, so, right there that tells me that it is something else.”

Smith has faced intense backlash since the incident while the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) also banned him from the Oscars for 10 years.
