Obama, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, breathed his last on Tuesday after battling with heart failure.

He was laid to rest on Wednesday in the Epe axis of Lagos state, according to Islamic rites.

In several clips from his burial shared on social media, friends and family members could be seen crying as they gathered to pay their last respects to him.

Until his death, the talent manager was the founder of Obama Music Worldwide (OMW), a record label.

Before OMW, the deceased floated ‘Holla At Your Boy’ after his return from Canada but the record label collapsed after the death of his partner.

He would later link up with Davido after the label folded up and started pulling the weight of fame.

Tributes have been pouring in for the deceased on social media since the news of his death broke.

Tiwa Savage, Nigerian singer, had earlier described him as the bravest person she has met in life.

“I’ve never met anyone as brave/strong as you who was also as soft and kind as you,” she had written in the touching note.

Davido is, however, yet to react to Uthman’s demise as of the time of this report.
