The couple tied the knot in 2019. The union is blessed with two sons.

In a recent TikTok live session, Daniels clarified that she married Nwoko of her own free will, contrary to claims that her mother forced her into the union.

The actress revealed that her family members, including her mother, Rita, initially opposed the marriage –though she didn’t disclose the reason.

She emphasized that she had multiple suitors at the time, with over 20 boyfriends for different purposes.

“I was so angry I had to go sightseeing with everyone but we got there and I met a cute man,” she said.

“Your boyfriend should not stop you from finding your husband. When I started with my husband, I forgot I was supposed to have a boyfriend.

“Then I had like 20 boyfriends, each for different purposes. So when people think I did not have a choice or think my mum forced me to marry my husband.

“Not knowing that my mummy and my full family were against the marriage.”

Daniels started acting at age seven, with her mother’s support, in the movie ‘Marriage of Sorrow’. She has been featured in several movies including ‘Plantain Girl’, ‘The Jericho’, and ‘Naked Sacrifice’. She has also received awards and accolades for her talent.

Nwoko, on the other hand, serves as the senator representing Delta North.
