The ace media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has officially announced the launch of a new daily programme ‘The Morayo Show’ and a cutting-edge studio built to produce it.

The ultra-modern studio was unveiled during a media briefing on Tuesday in Lagos, marking a significant new chapter for the broadcaster after she departed from TVC Entertainment earlier this year.

After over two decades in media, Afolabi-Brown described being driven by “a bigger vision”. She framed her career as a divine calling that must evolve, leading to the venture focused on transition, purpose, and the courage to innovate.

The TV presenter positioned the new studio as more than a production facility, calling it “a space for dialogue, a home for truth, and a platform for voices that need to be heard.”. She also emphasised the need for safe, credible spaces for expression in the country.

‘The Morayo Show’ promises to blend human stories, engaging conversations, and practical insights designed to inspire action.

It will explore themes surrounding society and culture, relationships, faith, purpose, identity, leadership, business, creativity, and national issues—all through the lens of everyday people.

“The Morayo Show is designed as an interactive, live platform where real people are participants, not spectators,” she said.

“Our goal is to foster conversations that are inclusive, human and impactful conversations that reflect the realities, questions and aspirations of Nigerians.

“I believe deeply that Nigeria does not suffer from a lack of opinions; we suffer from a lack of listening. We do not lack talent; we lack safe, credible spaces for expression.”

The show will have a multi-platform release. Its first episode premieres on January 5 via YouTube, with syndication broadcast on News Central TV, TVC Entertainment, and NTA.

The official studio opening is scheduled for December 18.
