Mitchel Ihezue, the beauty queen and reigning Miss Universe Nigeria, has tied the knot with Nicholas Ukachukwu, the politician and businessman.
Ihezue, who represented Nigeria in the Miss Universe 2023 pageant, earlier took to Instagram to share a series of posts of their pre-wedding pictures.
In one of the posts, she disclosed that her wedding would be taking place on Tuesday. She also described Ukachukwu as “the best part of me”.

The wedding ceremony is believed to be currently taking place in Onitsha, Anambra state.
The 26-year-old visual artist was crowned the ‘Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria’ in 2017.
She represented Nigeria at the ‘Miss World’ beauty pageant in the same year.
Ihezue was in the top 40 and also earned the title of ‘Miss World Top Model 2017’ in the global pageant.
In September, she was crowned the winner of the Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 pageant.
She is an advocate for women’s empowerment and rehabilitation through the Prince CN Ukachukwu Ministry of Nigeria.
Ukachukwu, on the other hand, is the CEO of SNECOU Group Limited. He is also a former house of representatives member representing the FCT.
