Michelle Yeoh, the Oscar-winner Malaysian actress, has married Jean Todt, former CEO of Ferrari – nearly two decades after he first proposed to her.
The wedding ceremony took place in Geneva, Switzerland last Thursday.
The 60-year-old movie star recently took to her Instagram page to share photos from the special occasion.
In the post, Yeoh appreciated their family members for loving them “for all these years”.
“19 years and YES!! we are married!! Thkq to our ‘families’ who love us for all these years. We love you and here’s to many more to come,” the actress wrote.

In one of the pictures, Yeoh smiled alongside Todt, 77, as they held hands and gazed down at their wedding rings.
The wedding ceremony was attended by family members and some close friends, including Felipe Massa, the former Formula One driver.
Yeoh and Todt met on June 4, 2004, in Shanghai. Over a month later, on July 26, Todt proposed to Yeoh for marriage.

“We met in Shanghai on 4 June 2004. On 26 July 2004, JT proposed to marry MY and she said yes,” read the message on the wedding card.
“Today after 6992 days on 27 July 2023 in Geneva, surrounded by loving family and friends, we are so happy to celebrate this special moment together.”
