Mercy Johnson-Okojie, the Nollywood actress, has lost Johnson Ametuo Daniel, her father.
The film star took to her Instagram page on Friday to mourn her dad while describing his death as the “greatest pain of all”.
She, however, did not reveal when he passed away and the cause of death.
The 38-year-old actress shared a video of her late father’s 74th birthday celebration, wherein she posed with him.
The mother of four also removed her Instagram profile picture as a tribute to her late father.
“For the rest of my life Daddy, I will keep asking God why? I don’t think I will ever understand why he has taken you from me, And if he responds, I don’t even think I will accept it,” she wrote.
“They say love saves but my love did not keep you here with us. The great pain I feel now is the greatest pain of all.
“Rest In Peace my gentle father, NWO Johnson Ametuo Daniel. D.A Johnson, God clearly loves you more, that’s the only explanation that makes any sense to me.”
