Nigerian celebrities have mourned the passing of Gbemiga Abiodun, better known as DJ Olu.

DJ Olu, a friend of Afropop star Davido, was found dead in his car on Saturday night.

The disc jockey is the second close associate of the singer to die within a week.

Celebrities, who are also familiar with the DJ, have paid tributes to him on social media.

Wizkid took to his Twitter page to react to the loss of a colleague in the music industry.

Indigenous rapper Olamide Adedeji posted on Instagram a pitch black picture, with the caption: “RIP DJ Olu”.

Fellow disc jockey DJ Spinall joined in paying tribute, saying: “It feels so wrong to post your picture up and write RIP. It feels so wrong. You always support me, you always message me.

“I’m always looking forward to your snaps because it’s full of life. Despite how comfortable you are, you always work so hard just to earn it for yourself and others. This is wrong! This is wrong. This is the worst news ever.”

DMW artiste Dremo also doffed his hat saying, “I love you bro! Till we meet again”.
