Rupert Murdoch, the former chairperson of the Fox Corporation, has announced his engagement to Elena Zhukova.
According to a report by the New York Times, the media executive is set to marry Zhukova, a 67-year-old retired molecular biologist.
Last year, the 92-year-old media mogul announced his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith, a former police chaplain.
He, however, started dating Zhukova just four months after he called off his two-week-long engagement to Smith.
Murdoch was said to have met the scientist through a family gathering hosted by his third ex-wife, Wendi Deng, whom he was married to for 14 years before filing for divorce in 2013.
Invitations for Murdoch’s wedding have already been sent out. The ceremony will be held at Moraga, his California estate, in June.
Murdoch has been married four other times before and has six children.
His last wife was former supermodel Jerry Hall, whom he divorced in 2022. His other ex-wives include Wendi Deng, Anna Mann, and Patricia Booker.
In September 2023, the media executive stepped down as the chairman of Fox and News Corporation.
Through News Corp, which was founded in 2013, Murdoch remains the owner of hundreds of local, national and international media outlets.
Zhukova, on the other hand, was previously married to Russian oil billionaire Alexander Zhukov.
Her daughter, Dasha, was previously married to Roman Abramovich, a Russian oligarch and former owner of the Chelsea football club.
