Made Kuti, the grandson of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, late Afrobeat legend, has tied the knot with Inedoye Onyeso, his lover.

The simple yet stunning ceremony took place in Lagos on Wednesday.

The couple exchanged vows in the presence of a few close friends and family, including Femi Kuti, Made’s father; Yeni Kuti, Made’s aunty; as well as Kate Henshaw, the actress.

The groom was dressed in a custom-made white suit, while Inedoye wore an off-shoulder wedding dress.

Earlier on his social media page, Made shared a pre-wedding video of him and Inedoye.

In an accompanying caption, he wrote “Today, a love story that began with two characters continues into one. Let the adventure begin”.

The singer engaged Inedoye in 2022.

He said he could not wait to build a future with Inedoye, adding that even though there was pain in the world, life was still worth living with her.

“She said YES @_inedoye. Newest fiance and fiancee in town,” he wrote. There is a lot of pain in the world every day but sharing that pain and fighting for a better world with you makes it all worth living for. I cannot wait to see the future we build together. I love you.”

Made is also a songwriter and instrumentalist.

He released his debut album titled ‘Forward’ in 2021.

Last year, his collaborative work with Femi Kuti, his father titled ‘Legacy+’, was nominated for the Best Global Music Album category at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
