‘Quilox was released days after the ‘Yeye boyfriend’ crooner announced the launch of Zanku Records’, his music label.

Born in December 19, 1994, Zlatan has cemented his spot in the country’s music industry with his street-wise music and ‘Zanku’ dance.

Zlatan, who is widely famous for his catchphrase “Kapachumarumarichipaco,” kick started his music career in 2011, and became more popular in 2018 following his feature on Chinko Ekun’s ‘Able God’.

He had once said Nigerians on the streets love him and his music because they feel he was less privileged and had fewer opportunities to himself as an upcoming artiste.

“If you still listen to my music and you’re updated, you’ll know that I don’t make songs for the street people alone. Because of my story, background and the type of upbringing I had, people love me on the street. They feel I was less privileged and had fewer opportunities,” he had said.

“Now, it’s far beyond just the street love. It now cuts across different factions and borders. If you listen to my new song ‘Bolanle’ and ‘This Year’, they’re totally different. I have a project coming up, my album. When you listen, you’ll see a new dimension to Zlatan.”
