Portable, the controversial singer, has responded to VeryDarkMan, the social media critic, with a diss track after being targeted in VDM’s scathing release.
The feud escalated when VDM released a diss track early Wednesday, taunting Portable over past controversies.
The track begins with a viral clip accusing Portable of stealing a tricycle, followed by repeated chants of ‘Ole!’ (thief), mocking the singer as having *“no grace”.
Portable, who is not one to stay silent, shared a snippet of his response to VeryDarkMan on Instagram.
In the track, the singer slams the activist with personal insults, calling him “poor” and alleging that he is “gay”.
He also directs derogatory remarks at VDM’s family while vehemently denying the theft accusations.
“VeryDarkMan, your mother/ You are a poor person/ Your mother is a p********e/ Your father is a shoe maker/ I take after my father/ I am not a thief / Stop calling me a thief,” he sings.

This isn’t the first clash between VDM and Portable. In 2024, the activist criticised the singer for assaulting a man at Felabration, prompting Portable to threaten physical retaliation if they ever met.
Earlier this year, Portable also rejected VDM’s request to feature on a diss track against gospel artiste Mercy Chinwo.
