Beauty Tukura, a contestant in the 2022 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), says the reality show is “toxic”.
The former Miss Nigeria shared her perspective about the show when she was featured on the ‘Me, Her, and Everything Else’ podcast.
Tukura, who was disqualified two weeks into the reality show, said the “toxicity plays out even in the community outside.”
The beauty queen, who recently unveiled her own reality show, said she wants people to know more about her because she didn’t stay long in the Big Brother house.
“I didn’t stay long in the house, it was just 2 weeks and the circumstances in which I left. I feel like a lot of people didn’t get to know me,” she said.
“And you know Big Brother house there is a way it is, there’s just something in that house, I can’t explain it.
“It is toxic, that’s the word, it is extremely toxic like even most of the community outside you know.
“You still see the toxicity play out somehow within the fans and all of that. I think the show is wired that way. I think it’s beyond me.”
Last month, Phyna, BBNaija’s season 7 winner, condemned the show, stressing that it is “very toxic”.
